Support Worker

Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing personalised care and support to
individuals in supported living settings and domiciliary care.

Key Responsibilities:

– Provide practical and emotional support to individuals with learning
disabilities, mental health conditions, autism, and complex needs.
– Assist with daily living tasks, including personal care, meal preparation, and
medication support.
-Encourage independent living by helping clients with budgeting, household
tasks, and life skills development.
– Support individuals in engaging with community activities, employment,
education, and social opportunities.
– Monitor and document health, progress, and well-being, reporting any
concerns to senior staff.
– Ensure a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment, tailored to each
client’s needs and preferences.

What We Look For:
– A caring and person-centred approach with a genuine passion for
supporting others.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build
trust and rapport.
– Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and overnight
stays.
– Experience in health and social care (preferred but not essential – full
training provided).
– A DBS check and relevant certifications (e.g., First Aid, Safeguarding) or
willingness to obtain them.
